About

My research interests focus on theoretical and methodological development of relations between the sources of biological and cultural information found in archaeological contexts. The area where this problem of research development is distributed between the northern region of South America, including the countries of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, mainly. Other countries in South America are also of interest to this problem. A special source of consultation in my research is teething. Teething is a abundant and common source in the archaeological record of my region, and also allows bio-cultural relationships directly. In short, I hope to understand the behavior of ancient human societies in the region of northern South America, through the analysis of the origin, microevolution, and variability of biological and cultural traits. I hope that these issues are of common interest to someone else on this network.
